HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE CHALLENGE 118 - SHOT THROUGH THE HEART

Hello Lovely Peeps,
This week for Macabre Monday at Haunted Design House, the Challenge is to produce a creation with a heart and a hole. My creation is a total digi this week and has a heart - but it's full of holes... actually it's only the veins showing on most of it ... snort !!!

Designer paper from Crafty Chaos Designs, Song lyrics curtesy of Bon Jovi :-D
I hope you will come over to Haunted Design House and play and also look at the other Minions awesome creations :-) See you there xxxx

FAREWELL TO SMUDGY ANTICS DT :-(

Well, sad news or what ???!!! The current Design Team term at SMUDGY ANTICS has ended...boo hoo, sob, bawl :-(  I have had such a great time and it has really flown by. I would like to thank Tori and Terra for letting me create for them during this term. It has been a blast. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
This week your task is to use this sketch - you can flip it, turn it, whatever you fancy, so long as your creation still fits within the sketch outlines.
So, on to my farewell project. I decided to put loads of Smeared Ink images onto it just for the laugh. :-D  I've got a Grumpie, a Stitchy, a Fem Dom,  2 Heebie Jeebies, a Steampunk birdie - Bluebird Rider, Watchful Eye, Calypso the Rat, a Glam Vamp (get the Smeared Ink shirt !!) and a Zombie driving the snow plough... and of course... he's scraping a fair few Tildas out of the way to make way for the darker characters !!! LoL

Snow plough pikkie 'borrowed' from the Net. All Smeared Ink images (and Tildas)coloured digitally.
A big THANK YOU to Smudgy for letting me come and play and Farewell to all my DT chums.         Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

VERY SKETCHY CHALLENGE AT SMEARED & SMUDGED

Here is my Triptych for the Very Sketchy Challenge at Smeared & Smudged Forum. You can make a Triptych Card or there is a lovely Scrap Page Sketch too. This month's sponsor is IPPITY and the Prize is an $18 shopping coupon :-D
For my card I have used 'Valentine papers' from Panda Bear Designs and Smeared Ink images from the 'Heebie Jeebies' Set - Cyclops, Mody5 and Kingston.

I used my Nesties with the bottom chopped off so it would stand up and my one and only TH distress ink. Everything has to be green 'cos it's the only one I have - it was a prezzie :-D xxx
Images are coloured with Copics and stuck on 3D with silicone glue. I think it works :-) !!

The backing paper and labels were from the Safari Kit by Catia Cunha at the Digital Scrap Cafe. I printed my sentiments on the labels in my graphics program. This is my first entry for the CDAC Progressive Challenge 10.

Well - I couldn't.  My friend made a comment about me having to have a lie down after my first Rudolph Day creation, so I guess she will, after I slap this baby on her Blog Challenge. Bwaaahahahahaha.  Her Blog is called STAMPING FOR PLEASURE

I have used "Serial Killer Santa" and his "Sack" from Smeared Ink and the corner peeping Dog is my own digi from a set of Christmas Corner dogs I did :-D

Here is mine for this week. I was playing with my Nesties and did a 2 layer one which I distressed with some TH ink. I have used my own digital stamp called 'POE SKULL BUST'. I coloured him with Copics and then scanned him back into the computer and printed him out 4 times. I then fussy cut him with my decoupage snips and layered him up with silicone glue.

Then I added a black feather and a little black bow at the top with a small hanger.

RUDOLPH DAY

Hello and welcome to RUDOLPH DAY LoL If you don't know what I'm on about, it's a scheme to make all your Chrimbo cards throughout the year instead of the last minute rush. !!! You make a card (or more than one) every month on 25th. I was inspired by this idea on the Blog of a funny friend of mine in cyberland who posts hilarious pictures of her chickens every Sunday... under the title of  "The Sunday Roast". It just makes me laugh and I have to go for my Sunday 'fix'..... you gotta go and see this !!!! Her Blog is called STAMPING FOR PLEASURE.
So - this week she is doing a little Challenge for Rudolph Day and I decided to play along. Here is my creation:

I wanted to do a mainly white card and have used my Nestie and a polka dot embossing folder for the backing. I printed this fabulous Polar Bear onto plain white card first. I added no colour to him at all. I attached the embossed piece with 4 little snowflake type brads and made some flowers with my Nellie Snellen punch/emboss, added some clear gems to the centre of my flowers and some foliage to finish. The main image is a Freebie from Gingerloft.

TALL, DARK & GRUESOME

Hi everyone,
I hope you are having a great day and that I'm not about to mess that up for you with this piece bwaahahahaha
This week at Smudgy Antics we were to design a piece under the title of Tall, Dark and Gruesome. I have used 'Anne-Marie' from the Glam Vamps Set by Smeared Ink (my .. she's popular this week... snort !!!)
Behind her - lurking in the depths - is one of my creations called the Deamon  and the Gothic Arch is one of mine too. Both available in my Shop.  This creation was produced in PSE9. The walls are photographs of a crypt in France. I have named this piece 'The Gateway to Hell'.

GET LOST !!!

Hello and welcome to MACABRE MONDAY HDH117 over at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE. The Theme this week is Use a Map. Just think of all the wondrously dark and creepy things you could do with a map ?!!!
For my creation I have used an old map of Transylvannia as my background and on top of that I have used one of my own digis  - 'Inside'.   I have coloured him digitally and layered him onto my map in PSE9. I added some bats flying out of the hole.

I do hope you will come over and join in with us this week You are to create a dark, Gothic or Halloween based project that must include a MAP. Big or small, background or main focus.... let's Get Lost in HDH-land !! :-D

SMUDGY ANTICS CHALLENGE - MASKING

Happy Monday,
Here we are again with Smudgy Antics and our Challenge this week is "Masking". This week I have tried a technique I saw recently on the Splitcoast Stampers Newsletter which they called 'Reverse Masking'.
I printed my image - Clarice, from the Glam Vamp set by Smeared Ink, and I coloured her digitally. Do you like her Smeared Ink shirt ??? :-D Then I cut out and embossed her with one of my Nesties. Then you have to put the Nestie back on AND the bit you cut it from and ink round the edges, and then again with just the Nestie frame. Then I stamped through some lace round the outside of that. I place the whole thing on some Joanna Sheen lacey paper that I had tinted green with Distress Ink. The flowers are from one of my much coveted prizes from Petaloo. :-) I think she came out pretty cool, and it was something totally different for me to do :-)

I hope you will come over and play with us at Smudgy Antics.
Your project can be anything (card, scrapbook page, mixed media, altered or 3-D item, etc) as long as it is handmade and stamped somewhere with either a rubber or digital stamp. We have taken into consideration our digital artist fans and will be allowing all-digi projects. Feel free to think outside the box and have fun with your project! We are all about looking at things differently and look forward to the variety of projects and mediums we are sure to see.

***Every entry, no matter what stamped image is used, will now qualify for a prize. Encourage your crafty friends to come play with us!

You may use any stamped image, however only projects using at least one Smeared Ink image will be eligible to win placement in the "Top Three".
*You can only enter and qualify for a prize if you are, or become, a follower of the blog. While you're at it, why not visit the forum as well for more challenges?

The weekly winner will be chosen by random number and revealed on Sunday. Prizes will vary and may range from a free digi to a coupon to a blog badge. The TOP 3 are 'personally selected'.

HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE CHALLENGE 116 - CHIC FREAKS

Good morning and welcome to Macabre Monday at Haunted Design House.
This week our Theme is "Chic Freaks" and out fabulous sponsor is Stampotique.
I have used Prom Queen and I have coloured her digitally, printed  her onto cardstock, torn her out, then chalked the egdes.  I decided to go a bit torn and tatty today LoL The DPs I have used were a free download I think a couple of years back - can't remember where from. Ribbon from  my stash. The swirls I cut with my Sizzix and I made a flower with some white meshy stuff and a pearl button :-)  I think she's gorgeous :-)

Ok, macabre fans... your challenge this week:

HDH117
"Chic Freaks"

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece
that includes a chic freak or a freakishly chic theme. Get your freak on... in a chic way.

Sunday 15 January 2012

UH-OH..... SILLY MODE AGAIN !!!!!

Well Happy Sunday Peeps,
I had a silly moment today when I saw the current Freaky Friday Challenge over at Forever Night. :-D
Challenge 22 is called "A Little Strange". Now, I consider myself to be more than a little strange, and today I did something a little 'different' for this Challenge. The sponsor is Creepie Cute Stamps and I went over a bought some fabbo little skullies after my daft idea came to me, and here's the result...bwaahahahahaa

Well, that is 'A Little Strange' isn't it ??????
Now, you only get to see one Paw because I have to hold the camera with the other one, but I can tell you that they are both the same. !! I am out to dinner tonight at some friends so I thought I'd do something different :-D
The girl who used to practice on my nails would freak if she knew what I'd done !!! They were already painted a sort of shell pinky colour and I just went over them with a black felt marker !!!!!! (Only 'cos it was quicker than getting out the black nail varnish, you understand ?) Then I printed my little skullies in different sizes onto sticky-back paper and cut them out. I put them on and they looked FAB, but they went a bit 'less white' if you know what I mean, when I put the clear glaze over the top. It also affected the black and made a cool crackle glaze effect.... neat eh ???? I hope they will last until Monday when I pop down to the Post Office. I can't wait to see their faces !!! LoL

QUOTH THE RAVEN...1ST CHALLENGE

Hello POE Peeps,
Welcome and here we are with our first Challenge at QUOTH THE RAVEN... which, of course, had to be 'Ravens' didn't it.???
Your task it to make a project, card, scrap page, altered item... anything you like really, but it has to have something to do with Ravens. Simples eh???!! You have 2 weeks to complete your first Task for The Master, so plenty of time to get inspired.

Here is my demonstration piece for you and I may slip in another mid-way through the Challenge. :-D It was really difficult to photograph this as it is a mobile and all the pieces kept twiddling round in the breeze. !!! Anyways, this one got both the words showing front but all my Ravens jolly well did their own thing !! Some of them are supposed to be facing the other way... doh !  Complete nightmare I tell you !

D'ya like my very posh lace background ??? Found it in my material box... cool eh??

Now, in case you hadn't noticed, Mr Linky chose No.26 (now you gotta go back and see who it is LoL)  as the Winner of the Candy - CONGRATS to you :-D

So... fly my little Poe Peeps and create us The Master something raveny :-D
The prize for this Challenge will be the "QUOTH THE RAVEN" Digi set from Smeared Ink and even I don't have that one !! :-)
Speak later  xxxxxxx

SMEARED & SMUDGED FORUM CHALLENGE - "OH, THE HORROR"

Hello Peeps,
****This Blog contains images of an ADULT nature due to semi-nudity.... well, I mean she's NUDE, but it's not explicit, naughty, porny stuff !!!!*****

This month at Smeared & Smudged Forum, the "Oh, The Horror" Challenge features a film by Alfred Hitchcock...'The Birds'. This is where you take your inspiration from to create a project :-)
I have created a new POE digi and coloured it up digitally to enter for this Challenge. I seem to spend ages drawing digis but hardly ever get to use them myself, so this girl is having her first outing :-D  I have named it 'Death Bed'. Inspired by a famous painting that I can't bloomin' remember who it's by now (senile moment !!) If I do, I will come back here and edit this   Close your eyes if you are prudish !!!

WOO HOO - HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE

Hello Peeps,

It's me with my  2nd project as a Macabre Minion at Haunted Design House . The Theme this week is 'Metal Mania' and boy, am I excited. !! I  tried out a new thing with tin foil as I didn't have any sheet metal hanging around at the moment.   So - without further blurb, here it is....

OUTSIDE:
INSIDE:

For the Outside, I have used 'Criss Cross Corset' from the Heavy Metal Set by Smeared Ink. I painted the whole image with glitter glue (that's why it looks green)and then coloured the fastenings with gold pen.  The background was made using all the other images from the Heavy Metal set arranged on white cardstock. The edge of the card was smudged with silver and gold ink. I cut a plate from the inside of a take-away box which had a metal foil interior, and I used aluminium tin foil glued on cardstock to cut out my flowers and leaves.

The Inside has 'Monster Boy' from Dilly Beans Stamps, and I have coloured him digitally and cut him out 3 times to decoupage him in 3D layers. I also gave him some kooky googly eyes which are hilarious when you hold the card and they wiggle...  snort !!!   I added a handmade tag and sentiment with a little silver bow. So - all in all - loadsaMetal :-D xxxxx

"Metal Mania"
You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece
that uses, includes, or depicts metal in some way.
You can go very literal with metal embellishments or metallic papers.
Or you can use the Metal music genre for your muse, or maybe some
industrial H.R. Giger type stuff.
Make it dark if you dare!!

Challenges I am entering:
Smudgy Antics Challenge  - Recycle - used takeaway containers :-)

JUNK FUNK AT SMEARED & SMUDGED

Happy Sunday Peeps,

Here is a little sneaky peeky at my creation for the JUNK FUNK Challenge over at Smeared & Smudged Forum. The task is to make something out of Paper Bags :-)
I have spent a couple of days so far making a paper bag Mini Album (not quite finished yet and you can't see it all because it would spoil the surprise) !!

I have decided that I shall be giving this away when the Challenge ends and the Smeared Ink  Design Team Term comes to a close at the end of January. Boo Hoo :-(
I haven't yet decided HOW I will do that - be it a draw of a little competition - so you'll have to pop back, if you are interested, and see what's happening :-D

Anyways, here is your peek ..............................

Stay tuned Peeps xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Faithful Peeps,

I have used a brand new image from Delicious Doodles called "Lycaonia". I have coloured it digitally and fussy cut it, then decoupaged into 4 layers. Then I placed her on a snowy tree background. I used my Sizzix to emboss a 'Polka Dots' backing and die cut some fern. The snowflakes are peel-offs !!
